Mary Loy
Mary Loy brings over 25 years of teaching and performance experience as a singer, pianist, actress, and director to The Music Rack. With great understanding of the diverse needs of her students, she provides healthy principles of vocal technique in most all styles of music. Having served as accompanist and vocal coach in major venues, as well as artistic director and educator in both public and private schools, she shares her experience in offerings of classical, musical theatre, Christian, rock, country, and jazz genres for both solo and ensemble. Her education includes a master degree in Voice Performance and Vocal Pedagogy from Louisiana State University and study with Phyllis Sahadi, Jerry Perkins, Uta Hagen, Paul Knowles, Boris Goldovsky, and D. Ralph Appelman. She enjoys working with ADHD and learning challenged students.
